What should we bring?
The SWFL sun is strong. Please dress appropriately and be sure to bring along hats, sunglasses, sunscreen, camera, snacks, rain gear. etc. We provide a large cooler for you to keep snacks and drinks cold. We keep water and some basic drinks aboard. Flip flops are fine, however if you are fishing for large fish like Tarpon, Sharks or heading offshore, sneakers maybe a better choice.
Can we keep our Catch?
Absolutely. You can keep any legal sized, in season fish you choose. We promote “catch and release” to keep our fishery growing, however you can certainly keep your catch. For updated limits and seasonal regulations please visit http://myfwc.com/fishing/saltwater/recreational/
Will you fillet our fish?
Absolutely!!! In fact, we’ll even give you some recommendations for restaurants that prepare your catch, or watch our YouTube page for some upcoming catch and cook videos!
Where will meet you?
We typically charter from Jensen’s Twin Palms Marina on Captiva. However, we can pick you up from nearly any waterside resort, marina or boat ramp around the sound – from Punta Rassa, Matlacha, Pine Island, Cape Coral, Boca Grand, North Captiva, Useppa or anywhere in between!
Can we go to lunch at one of the islands?
Absolutely! North Captiva, Cabbage Key, Useppa, Pine Island, Boca Grande all have some great restaurants on the sound which can certainly be a great excursion for you and your family! Feel free to ask for recommendations.
How many passengers can we take?
USGC regulations limit us to 6 passengers, however our charter prices are based on 4 people per boat. We do charge an additional (XXX) per person above 4 people.
Should we tip?
Tipping is customary and greatly appreciated. We will work hard for you!
Can we drink alcohol on the boat?
Beer, wine and booze are not included; however, you may bring your own. We appreciate responsible drinking while on the boat.
What is provided on the boat?
All rods, reels, tackle, bait and fishing licenses are included. We will have a cooler full of water and ice to stow anything you’d like to bring along. (Please leave large coolers at home.) We will fillet any fish you’d like to keep. We have all necessary safety equipment and life preservers on board. Most of all we will provide a fun, memorable time for you and your guests though experience, knowledge and patience!
What will we fish for?
We can fish for anything you would like! Species is generally dependent on the season. But we can pursue anything you’d like to catch! Just let us know!
Is this a kid friendly experience?
